New To Forum

Newbie here. Hi all just dropping in. Owned a 67 bug many years ago. Disc brakes. 1835 with 40 Dellortos and a dial in cam. Great ride. Now I have a 64 bug. It came with a 1835 and NO2 but was a shade tree build. The machine work on the trans and in the cases for the stroker crank was sub par for what the owner was doing. Real sketchy. It had the 6v trans and a early 70's fuel injection case. I never would of run the juice but it was a great opportunity to pick up. I am currently building it with Porsche 911/944 partial electric seats but think I will look for 912 le mans sport seats with adjustable head rests around the mid 60's to keep the era look of the seats. A 2110 with the direct port NO2. Installing a 67 street comp trans. My biggest goal right now it to fine the real estate in the motor compartment for my plumbing on the back wall for display and accessibility without sacrificing engine cooling. Hard to find shrouds. So many out there but questionable on their ability to cool correctly. Bernie Bergman, Porsche, and I saw a center mount on the forum with inserts. Any body out there have any recommendations from experience on what works and and doesn't. Don't want to toast a 10k+ motor. Thanks

Welcome to the community.
I have a new pair of kc lights to try on this weekend. I'm excited to see how well it'll perform off-road.
