I’ve been 6.60’s at 105 in the 1/8 mile . And 10.80 at 100 in the 1/4. The 1/4 mile pass was at Gainesville and I was told by the NHRA staff that I would be booted and not welcomed back if I ran the car out the back. I shut it off at about 1000’. That pass it went 6.70 @ 103 to the 1/8.
It also ran a couple 10.90’s at 125 at Orlando.

Best mine ever did was 11.44@119 in the 1/4. That was my "shake it down, don't break it" first pass in Vegas a few years ago. Had other issues that day and never bettered it. Oh well.

What was your 60ft?
I couldn't even get into the 10's with my 'high shelf' short block
(my best was 11.06 @ 123 mph at about 24psi and ~2200lbs, 1,65 60ft)
Won't stop me from trying though

Yes, I live in St Johns County near St Augustine.
It was 60’ ing in the 1.30’s to 1.40’s after we had some shocks built for the car.
The biggest thing I could recommend would be to get your suspension and clutch sorted out. Power comes later.
We ran a stage 1 and 4 puck and it made 370 whp at about 30 psi and never slipped on the chassis dyno. I never even got past 14 psi. They will haul ass without a ton of power if you get those two things sorted.
Most guys run way too much clutch and kill gearboxes. Ask me how I know.
There are many ways to skin a cat and I just used one. I blew up some stuff too. I have been lucky with some good help too. If you want to go fast you’re going to break some parts occasionally.

I live in FL also...maybe we one day will meet up one day on the track. That would be so much fun. My car is not fully tuned yet. Its running rich at the moment but it still made 245rwhp at 8psi on the dyno and that was without touching the timing. I just need to find someone to tune the car correctly.

There is no show at the bel-air any more. They don't allow it.
Now everyone gathers at Daytona 1. Right across from the speedway around Bass pro shop and all the other new crap there.
Are you going to the Bug Jam?
