1776 with 46cc heads

Post by joe-ker »

Did a little bit of searching but didn't see anything.

I can get some heads but they are 46cc chambers

My question is that to small, even though I would end up with 9.0 compression, which I know that has been posted, but with no one is saying their chamber size.

This will be a daily driver 65 vw bug

It would depend on what cam you are using and what the recommended compression ratio is for that cam. What is the rest of your engine combo?

not sure on the cam, but possibly a web series cam with 1.1 rockers. Kads, 1 3/8 exhaust

just wasn't sure if the chambers were to small

You can run that compression and something like a 163 or 218 quite easily. A lot of builders will run a tighter deck and a bit big of chamber to get a certain compression ratio but a .060 deck is more than acceptable.
