I've always wanted to do an Oxyboxer, i've finally found a 2.1 that came up local to me for a suitable price (considering i won't be using half of it)
i thought i would make a thread so i can remember and plan things a little better. This will be a slow build as certain bits will probably be very expensive.

The Plan:

Oxyboxer case

Crank: WBX 76mm wbx item maybe?

Pistons: maybe super squishie? thick wall 92's or go as large on the bore as i can and still cool well?

Heads: see if i can find some WBX pattern heads as thats one option, or convert to T1 heads.

Rods: T1 of some sort

Cam&lifters: solid or hydro not really sure yet (TP sells press in inserts and nice lifters though)

Oil pump: 30mm and use the stock oil filter location i think "KISS" to an external cooler

Cooling: 911 fan (already have one) and shroud running in my T1

Flywheel: 200mm item for good range of clutches probably

Turbo: HUGE, see how my Holset HX40 runs in my T1 now and decide from there


All of these are open to change and its early days on the planning side of things.

Nothing exciting, i'm waiting on this C19 to pass so i can get the cases cleaned up at a car club at work and see how things looks.
i've binned both heads as they were trash.

Still trying to get my T1 turbo finished up too at the min so got the Oxy in the back of the garage at the min!
