I acquired a Z bar from a 67 beetle. Could anyone tell me what they are worth?

Thanks,
Mitchell

I don't know much about them but be careful when cleaning this up. It is a torsional (twisting) bar that you have to watch out for as scratches on the surface has the potential weaken things up especially when age is also tied into it.

"For what it is worth".

Thanks. All I have done was to brush the off and apply a lightcoating of rust kill.

I have a 68 with a z-bar. When I bought my car in 2013 only parts of it were on the car. After lots of hunting I found my missing parts. The rubber parts were available from CIP. Com . It’s a must for the car, so it was worth the effort. Cost, well I spent 50 just on the parts. Note that they are pretty rare parts from bugs.

Thanks for the reply. I still have the Z bar and I still do not know what it is worth. Maybe some day someone will want it.

Thanks,
Mitchell

Yes, I still have it. I attempted to send you a PM, but I do not believe it went through.
