How to identify crank

I've got a crank stamped H78, was told it was stroker 78mm.

But when I measure depth at TCD to BDC on any of the pistons I come up with 69-70mm
It is an 8 dowel, with massive 1 ⁷/⁸ gland nut.

Any ideas? It's not a forged stock crank, shows areas of welding.

Looks like a stock stroke aftermarket crank that's had counterweights welded on.

So with 94 jugs it will and should be a mean 1915.
I plan on running dual 44 webber.
What can I expect with the added/welded counter balance?
More rpm, low end torque.

Its not gonna give you any real world benefits outside of a little smoother running engine.

If done properly… it won’t flex like a wet noodle above 5k rpm, which a stock crank does due to the secondary imbalance & lack of stiffness in the webs.
