I bought a super beetle and it's got this oil pump on it.
The line is just a loop. Engine has oil pressure, so it's working, but I'd like to eliminate a potential problem and replace the cover. Anyone know if that's possible/simple, or do I need to pull the pump? Thanks!

Ha! Finally found it. It's an auto stick oil pump

Correct. I meant to post earlier but the app was playing up.

You would need to replace the pump to get rid of the cover & loop of hose.
