New guy with questions about my bug

I was looking for information on the tune up for my bug and found this forum, I've had my Beetle for about 15 years. It is a 1973 standard Beetle with the auto-stick transmission. I am retired now am trying to get it running the way it should. So, I hope to get answers from those with more experience. Thank you for allowing me to join this forum.
