Ok. So this just happened while driving from winning best in show (Karmann Ghia class), from the Bugout car show. I have a 1967 KG coupe. While driving the gear shifter sheared off. I'm looking at my hand with shifter in hand not being where it should be. As luck would have it nothing serious happened. Because of two gentleman who happened to be behind me from the car show noticing I was in trouble. But I'm now in need of buying an original replacement (not made in China or Brazil). Does anyone have any idea of where to look?

Go to the classifieds on the Samba. I guarantee you'll find a used original and probably for not much.
