Hello everyone
So I just bought my first bug and it's already a love hate relationship
She turns over shift ok wires need re done, bad brakes the usual for an old car
But my snag is i can't find this part
**operating arms**
(sway bar links)
Anti sway bar links
Anti roll bar links
And probably some other name
I can think of a few i could call them
So I'm going to have them made
I just need to make a template
No big deal
So I buy the bushing kit it has the spacers so that should be my length ..... no
I know they are different one has a larger gap in the middle
More like this? but what is the distance between the stoppers?
I don't know what it's would be called the parts that need to be welded on the rod?
I could guess like 4 on passenger and 6 on driver
Look similar to other pix on line
Does anyone even know what i am even talking about
Please save my car
Y are they upside down....
..... my life....
But i vow if I can do this I will make them for anyone that is willing to pay cost the of material and shipping
....but not like a factory or anything I do have a day job... lol
And i can't guarantee any kind of safety

Re: 67 vw beetle z-bar HELP
The "stoppers" you mention are likely the points where the link attaches to the bar and the control arm. The distance between them should be based on your specific setup, but if you're making a template, measure from center to center of the attachment points.
It might help to compare to similar setups online or get measurements from another car if possible. If you're having a hard time finding the exact parts, custom fabrication is a solid route.

Re: 67 vw beetle z-bar HELP
I have a complete Zbar from a 67 VW. If you look in the type I forum you will see the topic and there is a picture.
