A few people have attempted such conversions, but most of them end up as nothing more than hack jobs. To be done right, you'll need to perform a pan-off restoration to properly run the coolant hoses to the front of the car and configure everything to accept a radiator.
Oh, and you'll need lots of money, because you will be performing your own R&D along the way. IOW, expect to waste a lot of money simply by trying different ideas or techniques.

Turbo ford 2.3 into a VW ?!
Has anyone attempted this before ? I know that there are conversion kits available but what is really involved? I have a 87 thunderbird turbocoupe, the drivetrain is good but the body & chassis is a big pig (3600 lbs) !!!!!
