Just Got back from Reno Nevada My 69 type 1 I call"Bills Bug", we climbed 5 passes over 8000ft and averaged over 30mpg. I drive 60-65 mph.Used half a quart of 20-50,I had a 13 hour stop in Hawthorne Nv. to let the weather clear.It was 1028 miles in 23hours of drive time.Steve

I would say excellent. What was the ambient temp like?

The temps.were between 22-50f.I blocked off the air flow to my external oil cooler(off RX-7 turbo) to keep my engine hot.I did not change the jets in my carbs.I have installed bilge blower fans in heaterducts under back seats it gets toasty now.Steve
