Lightening a Flywheel...

Post by Beetlenut »

Since I have the engine out for a bit of restoration and attention, I've been thinking of having the flywheel in my 1500cc lightened & balanced for a little "zestier" low end. Will have it lightened to 13Lbs, as I have heard of problems going lighter than 12Lbs.

Any feedback on this process? Any reputible, reliable places to send the flywheel for this operation?

Thank's
