Doesn't fit. The length of the M7 mirrorarm bolt from a type4 is longer. And I hope m'n outside mirror is an original type4, the shape of the mirrorarm is also more elegant.

Oh i didn't relise. The mirrors on both my type 4's look like standard mirrors (from memory) although I havent ever taken them off.
Where abouts are you in Europe?
