Well, I ALMOST bought a 411 two-door fastback that I'd seen in a classified ad on type4.org. I offered too little money (I was hoping to get the steal of the century, but really, I couldn't afford the original asking price.), and someone else snapped it up

Oh well. There will be others...I hope.

Sorry to hear that you missed it.

Good luck on the next one. I'm glad to see that we are getting some more people interested in the 411/412s. Keep us informed on the search.
