I bled the clutch on the 411 yesterday. I works like a treat now. (ie doesn't need pumping to get the clutch to disengage). I also replaced the front brake flexy hoses, the pads still touch the disks too much, but at least they are not locked on any more.

Hmm, I still have a problem with my brakes. I think I need to strip down and re-build my calipers. Anyone know if you can get re-build kits?

I got a rebuild kit from Uro a few years back. If you want I'll see if I can find the part numbers.

Chris - are you using the right brake pads? Some calipers use thick pads whilst others use thinner ones. My 412 uses the thick ones.
I have a couple of sets of VW NOS thin ones if your stuck.

I found re-build kits in the end, and rebuilt by calipers. Now they work very well. I am sure I posted about that some time ago?
