Hi T4 Fans!
Did you know that in 1969 when the Type 4 was introduced to South Africa, Volkswagen S.A. took 3 VW 411's on a grueling 24-hour non-stop record attempt? The 3 cars all finished successfully, breaking all average speed and distance records for the time. I have done some research on this milestone in the T4's history, and found some pictures of the record attempt. I will however only be able to post it on the forum within the next week, as I am currently on holiday at my parents, and don't have it with me. Does anyone know about any other historic rallies/races completed by Type 4s?
