I was looking at, in the not too distant future at rebuilding one of my engines to run in my daily driven 412LS, running on D-jet injection. I was wanting to know how high a compression ratio could I run on normal pump gas with this system?.

About 8.5:1 on stock injecvtion...maybe a hair more if you are using a web-cam with a lot of valve overlap. But...make sure your injection is worked out well...no lean spots. With D-type you should not run less than the stock 8.2:1. Its actually detrimental, uses more gas...and runs hotter below 8.0:1. Ray
