I have a '62 11 window Kombi w/ a 1600 sngle port motor,that was in a stock type 1.

What I'm looking for is the silicone or rubber boots that connect the exhaust heater boxes to the heater tubes that bring the heat to the cab.

I have an old one that was hangin' off one of the heater tubes when I bought my bus. It looks similar to a red silicone intake manifold boot.

If anyone can tell me where to look for a pair, I would really appreciate it. Thanx guys, this is the best "active" VW message board I've found so far. Hopefully someone can help me, I'm dying for some deeefrost.

I forget what size that tube is but I would think you could use flexible exhaust line for a car or diesel truck

I know when I had a 67 Baja with "J" bars I froze my ass off but sold car before putting heater boxes on it.

good luck, try http://www.bus-boys.com/home.htm

they may have them
