I got a new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders, new brake shoes, bled all the lines till I have clean fluid and no air in the lines, but my brake pedal still travels a good bit before it stops. she stops straight enough just a lot of pedal travel!!! Any Ideas?/
Also thanks to all that have helped in my past posts!

did you remember to adjust the new shoes after you installed them? if you diddn't, thats the prob. you need to go adjust them. if you did, there are other things (bad lines, bad wheel cylinders)

If everything else checks out *TWICE* then the next thing you could do is adjust the brake pedal rod- its a rod attached to the brake pedal which pokes through the rubber boot of the master cylinder. If I remember right, there is a jam nut that you loosen, adjust the rod outward and then tighten.
Hope that helps.

Thanks Guys for the input! I did adjust the shoes correctly, but did not consider the "plunger rod" from the brake pedal to the master cylinder, Will check it out! Thanks

The gap between the pushrod & the cup into which it goes should be 1mm. This is difficult to judge though as you have to go by the observable amount of free play in the pedal.
When you installed the wheel cylinders did you push their pistons right back in as far as they will go BEFORE adjusting the shoes?. This is nees to get the full available travel out of them when you brake. The adjuster star nuts will not usually give you enough leverage to push the pistons back in fully, so have a look at that too.
