I'm rebuilding a stock 1.8L LJet 914 ('75) and plan to increase the P&C's from 93 to 96mm and use a stock grind cam, maybe Webcam #73. Going from 1795cc to 1910cc isnt a huge jump, but will that affect the A/F ration at all? should I worry about leaning out too much? I'm collecting as much literature as I can and am trying to understand modifications to this FI system. Anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks

Mueller: did you just slap on the LJET and it worked? I supposed you used 2.0 injectors? and was it a stock 2.0?

I used the 1.8 injectors mounted on the 2.0 intake plenums...
I've also had a 1.8 with a big bore kit
(1911) and used the L-Jet as well with no problems.
The only reason I got rid of the L-jet on my 2.0 is that I built a Megasquirt FI unit for it.

Was your use of the 2.0 intake and plenum a calculated one or arbitrary? Does that simply move more air into the system? I've been reading alot of Greenwoods old posts and theyve been helpful. It looks like the LJet can handle a modified displacement just about to 2.0. I just want to be sure it will work and what adjustments I'll need to learn how to perform on this system.
Thanks

I used the 2.0 intakes and the 1.8 plenum...mostly 'cause that is what would work the fastest to get the car running.
I would have needed a 90° elbow to mount the airflow meter to the 2.0 plenum.
The '76 912e's used all the stock 2.0 intake parts but with the L-Jet as well since the factory made the correct elbow.

Does anyone know the lift/duration/etc specs for the stock cam? I'd like to compare it to the web 73, but cannot find these figures anywhere. Thanks
