Convertible Window Removal q's

1979 Convertible S. Beetle:
Can anyone give some tips for removing the windows and vent wings from the doors? I also need a source for rust free rear roll up windows.

If you need quarter window lift channels you can order them from a number of different sources. I got mine from Chuck's Convertible for around seventy a piece. Don't waist your time trying to find used ones because you won't. As far as taking out the windows you must first take out the vent window post and then the main window.
