Thing BallJoint Boots

I have a question for all you Thing experts. The boots on a couple of my ball joints are cracking. The balljoints are not sloppy or anything. I do know that if the boot cracks and lets in dirt, the joint wont last long. Is it possible or worth it to change the boots without changing the joints? And if it is possible, would the boots also be Thing specific?

Boots are same as bug ball joint. Can be changed.

Thanks for your reply. It's cool to have a good THING resource. I hope this board grows quick because its nice not having to wonder if something that works on a bug will work on a THING.

I don't know if the interchange shows they will work but I just changed all of mine with ones for a bug and they worked fine

Speaking of cracked boots...I'm running a 181 front end on my baja and the ball joint boots are cracking already. Anyone here heard of a supplier for urethane boots for a 181?
