Suspension on that Thing is pretty sweet. Front fenders could be done a little better but the tranny and suspension is really cool.

The "Lockright" locker, is that a limited slip diff or a lockable one (air or mechanical)? anyone know? How much & where from ?
Cool car - love the Mad Max feel, I agree about the front fenders too, a little more work.......

Looks as if the engine is open, Baja style. What do you think anyone? Same color as mine. First I`ve seen that was. Good luck. Bob Ingman

I wish there were more pics from behind to see how it looks. I was wondering how that would look to do a baja style THING. Plenty of room for whatever engine swap you would ever want. Its cool to see something different done with a THING. I wish there were more offroad THING sites on the net.

LB here`s one from Phoenix Bug-O-Rama. I think it belongs to Milo Pense if I remember right from a Hot VW feature a couple of years ago.

Bob, thanks for linking me to that picture. It is really cool. I actually saw that car down here at a VW show a couple of years ago and took some pictures of it. Really slick car. I really like that baja cage in the rear, just looks different. I think it had a different bumper when I saw it.
