Jb do`nt neglect the prerunner fenders from So Cal Imports. I think they are by far the best. They were designed because those preexisting were seriously lacking, especially the fronts. There was a Hot VWs feature on them last yr that I could dig up for you if needed but look in the ads in Hot VWs to find them. Good luck Bob Ingman

SoCal also sells stock size & looking fiberglass fenders for the Thing. Much cheaper than Thing Shop.
There is also fiberjet & that glass Company in AZ that makes rear fenders in glass.

Don't know if you're interested in a trade, but I have fiberglass front fenders on my '73, that I'd like to swap for metal. Driver's side is in perfect condition - passenger side has a 1 inch hole near the hood that somehow popped through (I have the piece that popped out, and it looks like an easy fix).

hey Jesse - I tried to e-mail you a photo (only have one of the whole car right now - will take more detailed ones when I can), but it didn't go through. I'll have my car back from the shop in a few weeks, so if you're not in a rush, we may be able to work out a trade.
