it seems like everyone needs new rubber. Tire rack is a neat site. what would be the best purchase how ever? All purpose? what would be the max for the stock 14" rim 205/75/14 ? is the 27" the max for the front tire with a stock suspension?
I need to buy a set of 4
WILL A 205 FIT UNDER THE HOOD?

I just started the restoration. I will be taking the body off the chasis. I guess this would be the time to put new mounts and a lift kit . but does this mean i have to change the drian shafts?

Usually, if you don't raise your car beyond the stock upper limit of travel on the trailing arm, you can get by with stock cv's. Beyond that you are into very expensive Porsche cv's and related parts.
