JayR if you like savings I`ve seen the Corbeau Baja SS seats selling in the $129-$139 range. They are very good seats for the money. Also see the PRP seats in the $159 range. Be warned no one list seat mounting brackets for the Thing but those for the 71-72 Suber Beetle will interchange. Also KG floors will interchange with Thing but have a different pattern pressed into them so are not proper for a restoration. I bought mine from Vince @ Things Unlimited in Ft. Walton Beach Fl. Good luck. Bob Ingman

the difference between floor pan patterns is more a year difference than a model difference. Safaris-181s up to 1973 have a pattern of only east-west (side to side) ribs. Things and Safaris from 1973 to 1980 use a floor pan with the same rib pattern, but there is another rib starting under the right drivers foot and travels in a 1/4 of a circle to end aprox. under the post for the front doors hinges. The opossite side works in the opposite way. Action Imports pans are correct for Things built after february 1973.
