reduction box

i have a combi reduction box and i am buying a parts car with a 181 box i can do 60miles an hour now will i lose speed if i change to original?
Kiwi, I`m not real sure of your question so I`m going to guess at what I think you are asking . Correct me if I`m wrong.
The swing axle w/reduction boxes is much lower geared. If you switch to IRS 181 trans you will have higher top speeds.
If you have IRS and go to reduction swing axle you will have lower top speeds. Good luck. Bob Ingman
