I am going to use a Porsche shroud that has the oil cooler within the shroud. Do I need to use any of the tinware that normally goes with the flat style type IV?
I would imagine that I would need the under cylinder deflectors and then need to custom make the engine tin to seal the bottom of the engine from the top but wondered what others were using.
Cheers
Paul

Tinware with Porsche cooling
The stock TIV under cylinder tins are INCORRECT for upright cooling...Using them will back even more air up in the shroud (too much is backed up anyway) and cost you even more power.
I use TI tins under the heads of upright engines, even with a DTM!! The stock TIV tins are for pancake cooling, nothing else.

re: 2.0L crank. It will fit right into any T4 case, they are all the same regardless of displacement.
I have the T1 tins under my DTM shroud per Jake's suggestion. I bought them new, $3 each and installed them backwards from a T1 application. The little tab with the hole in it (usually goes on the case side for a T1) now sits on the head side (with that weird 5mm botl hole) on my T4.
It works really well.
