Approximately how much in inches would the rear end of my Thing lower if i turned them 1 notch. It sits rather high now that the front is dropped. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

LastSafari, you mean to tell me that if i turn the rear end down 1 notch, it'll lower the entire rear end 3-1/2"???? Wow, i was hoping for something like 1".

There is a different number of splines at each end of the bar, 28 at one end, 29 at the other I think. You can combine these to get intermediate values of less than 3". There is a math formula to figure this out, but ask around at some of the other sites and get replies from those that have actually done the change. If you want the formula write me off line.

40 inner, 44 outer splines. One inner spline changes the unladen springplate angle by 9°, one outer by 10% less (~8.2°) so the smallest change you can make is .82° by going one way on the inner and the opposite way on the outer. For example, to change by ~4° you need to go 5 and 5; I'm guessing that would be about what you're after.
