Tapping for full flow ?

Tapping for full flow ?

This is for a 2.1 case which has a pre-bored hole just below the normal T1 return tube location... Is this hole okay to use as a return line?

In my case I will run a Berg pump cover on a 30mm Schadek AL pump that is plugged. The oil filter will remain in the stock T5 location (unless the muffler gets in the way?).

Hopefully a simple question, I just do not want to hinder oil flow by using the lower "pre-tapped" spot if it sucks...
