I have to suggest that either

1. an option that allows me not to display other people's avatars or
2. a policy that disallows gigantic pictures of penises as avatars be implemented. I sometimes view this site at work or around my kid. 'Nuff said, I think.

No apology needed, and it wasn't offensive to me, but I could see some folks at work here getting bent over the whole thing. If I had found it personally offensive, I would have PM'd you personally to talk about it.

I guess I would prefer a system where we could just disable avatars if we wanted, then everybody could put up whatever they want. Anyway, sorry to raise a stink about it, but it was getting in the way of my STF fix...

I think that being able to dissable the avatars is an excellent idea, everyone on the STF does not have broadband capabilities.

I don't see of anyway to disable avatars. I'm on a slow dial up and don't have any issues with speed though. I will monitor the avatars and make sure they are in good taste. For example Penis-heads, bikini models, nudies.
