Momo Spacer for 73 Thing

I have installed a Momo steering wheel on my 73 Thing. I used momo adapter 0248 and now my wheel is so close to the turn signal and wiper levers i need a spacer. I can only find a 1/2" and 9/16" spacer. I need at least 1" spacer. Has anyone else gone through this? K-mann

Thanks. I ordered two 15 mm Momo spacers from Pelican Parts and am still on the search for (6) 5 mm x65 mm screws to go through the wheel and pair of spacers. With the pair of spacers i shoudl end up wiht the same sapce as you have. Your feedback gives me confidence that the adapter solution will solve my clearance. If your guy has a source of these istall hardware your help would be appreciated.
