Value of a 412

Post by FlyingV »

Could be a future owner of a 412. Was just wondering what these usually go for in terms of $. I have come across a 412 in good condition. The car looks sweet and I like it alot. It is an Automatic, too bad cause I love manuals. But hey if any of you have any useful info to offer a newbie it would be much appreciated. Anyway, hope to become a regular on here and a future owner of a sweet lookin 412.....Thanks guys!

Well, it depends what you've got. I have gotten some flak for the time I said a low mileage, primo 411 was worth more than $2000. So, I don't think anyone here will recommend going above that. These cars are generally on the low end of the 'taken care of' category. Even if they are, there are some tough to find parts that wear-out just sittin' around.
Low-ball 'em and see. What are we talking about in this 412? Clean, low miles? 2-door? If it's a ragged-out 4 door, you've got a long, less-rewarding road to hoe...
