Thx Bill Maybe I can print it out on sticker paper, do you think that VW or someone has the blueprints with all the data on a 412.

I have been looking for one for some time. If anyone can loan me even one on a piece of plating...I will screenprint them in quantity...for free...on stock (but newer and better) materials, in stock color. I just need to photograph it. I will also be printing the octane stickers for the gas flap and the voltage sticker for thenegine compartment . They will be about 50 stickers per sheet...so I'll have plenty to give away. Ray

Check with BusDepot.com but check for the typeII with the same engine (e.g. if you have a 1700 411, look for the 1970 typeII). Bus depot has nearly everything for type4 motors, and a LOT of stuff for other VWs.vwbill wrote:Hey has anyone seen a place to get the diagram for the sticker on the front left tin with all the tune up data on it? The sticker for the 411/412 was unigue. It was chrome or brushed metallic, about 4"x3" and had emmissions, CO, and valve adjustment data. The bus had nothing like it. The actual L-jet 412 version was the same size, but was a paper decal with red printing...and totally differnt information. It was the equivalent to the decals they usually put on the underside of trhe hood in a watercooled vehicle. It had timing specs, advacne specs, idle speed, and valve adjustement specs with the little valve diaghram, and co mixture info. Ray
