What is the fastest thing run in the 1/4 mile? or 1/8th? I saw one in VW's a few months ago, (small pic), I think it ran 14's? looks bad-azz, I wonder how much fiberglass, and weight reduction can be gained on a thing?

It was a white colored drag-thing, pictured in HotVWs magazine (Small pic)a few times, has aluminum wheels and lexan windows, and looks like rollcage and spun aluminum gas tank, looks like lots of light weight fiberglass parts, I remeber the caption or the car it self said 14.?something on the window for 1/4 mile. got no more info, thought you guys might, thanks Justin

At the time of that Hot Vw's pic, it ran 9's..........in the 1/8th. Now I think he's down to like a 7.70.

OK - thought John said over the 1/4 in his mails but guess he meant 1/8 then ?
not sure on my 1/8ths - but planning on late 12's in the 1/4 -
They make great drag cars IMHO
