Oil Pump

Hi,

Having eaten the cam on my MSHP, it also passsed metal through the oil pump and damaged the casing of the pump, the fins seem fine though. So we planning to just change the cases and refit the oil fins. Anyone see a problem with this ?

What else have people done with oil pumps ? Any popular upgraded oil pumps available ? A new VW oil pump will cost be about £150, so cheaper alternatives would be nice.

Motor Spec : Type 4, 2.4 Lt, 44 webers, G grind cam, lightened flywheel, DTM shroud.
