I just bought a 73 thing. Mostly just surface rust except for the floorpans. It came with new fiberglass floor pans. question is, how do i tell who made them, what gauge they are, and how do you install them? do you have to take the body off to put them in, or can you just drop them out and put them in?

Thanks in advance

First, a recommendation - sell those fiberglass floor pans, get a set of steel ones.

That is exactly what I was going to say. Sell them and get steel.
No you will not have to remove the body. Its just a matter of removing old sections and then installing the new by welding(which cannot be done with glass). Another consideration is that if you replace the full sections your seat is then held in place by glass.
New steel units are readily available and very inexpensive for what they do. Good luck. Bob Ingman
