My '69 Bug
Here's a pic of my '69 Bug in it's "Before" stage pretty much as it was when I bought it. Right now it's in an awkward, stripped down "In-Between" stage but I hope to have it back on the road next summer.

That looks like a solid project, good year too. How are the pans?
BTW You have no idea what stipped down means when talkin' VW...
I still see seats, fenders, trim, and window glass.

Chris, that's a pic of the car when I bought it. Right now it's a bare shell sitting on the pan. It's been stripped of everything but the paint. The pan is all there except for a small hole (8" X 4") under the battery but I think the floors may be getting a little too soft. I'll probably replace the pans as a precaution as I don't want to take it apart again once it is done. The only rust on the body (not including fenders and surface rust) is the driver's heater channel (which is borderline repairable but I am still going to replace it) and a series of small holes on the cowl area. Not bad for a car that has spent it's entire life in the northeast. This pic better represents it's present state.
