Stroke
What is the largest stroke that can fit into the case with machining within reason?

The stroke that you can run is the same as a type one case. The distance from the crank and cam is the same. Although the case is a little wider the "roof" of the case appears to be about the same as a type case.
I am running an 86mm crank in mine and I am sure you could squeeze an 88mm or 90mm in. But from what I understand things get pretty tight for those that have done it in a type one case, so I assume it would be the same for these.

Stock width with or without water jackets?
2489 cc essentially without machine work (water cooled)
John, if you're listening...;-)
I KNOW you're payin attention...

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
