The start of Our 65 Bug

Post by BnT65Bug »

We bought this as a fun car to drive. It barely made it home. Started checking things out a little closer and one thing led to another and the next thing we knew it turned into a full body off restoration. This is our completed pan. The body has had all repairs done and is in getting a fresh coat of Fontana Grey inside and out. Interior and Exterior will be factory stock. Motor, well, thats to be determined.http://community.webshots.com/album/87158978pYatsQ

Thanks for the nice comment. I've tried to do everything right the first time. I have had everything powder coated or plated with the exception of the steering gear box, tie rod ends and the beam. New parts have been used everywhere they could be. I had no idea how expensive this was going to get when I started. I did make a budget but unfortunately I didn't follow the golden rule and triple it.
