Well, I think i'm sold on thetype 4 engine, seems like alot of potential in that engine, but how much do they cost? I'm planning a bug or ghia(hopefully convertable either way) anyway, I want it to look good, and FLY on the streets. But how much do they go for? also, I love the whole superchager idea, how much would it run to do one of those?
PS Will this thing be fast? like, real fast? like a licence to own one fast?

Fast, Is 150 MPH fast? With the right engine/tranny combo, it's possible. Keep in mind the shape of the Beetle is not conducive to these speeds unless you counter with the proper downforce (spoilers, air dams, etc). Build it fast, but keep it safe...there is a compromise.
Cost? You can build a stock 2.0 liter T4 motor for about the same cost as a 2110 Type 1. You can easily double that figure with a performance T4 engine and quality components. Add forced induction and price becomes irrelevant.
