I am getting ready to swap over to Disks, i am thinking of going CIP1 conversion, using Ghia front brakes, beetle drums in the rear so i can run the 4x100 pattern for my 17's.

It includes everything but backing plate and nut and washer, it did however state something about changing over to T3 tie-rods, only for the 66-68 bugs. I have the spindles from the bug on mine now.

I am changing over to disks in the front since i will be running a 1600Turbo till i get the 2liter built, which will also be a turbo.

Or do you think standard beetle drums will stop the thing with the 1600 for the time being?

Better safe then sorry.

Let me know what you think, Peter

i would definately do the disk breaks. while you're at it, why not add rear disks? a rear disk kit is about $200 with everything. it's too cheap not to do it! i believe you can even get rotors pre drilled to 4x100, althouh i had a machine shop do mine.

Disks in front

I have not found any company that sells the rear with e-brake for lessthen 350.

200 you get the disks but no e-brake.
