What are you trying to do,remove the flex plate from the crank or trying to get the trans unbolted from the engine, your not giving much to go on here.
If you are trying to get the bolts off the crank you will need a metric 12 pt? allen type wrench to remove them. you should be able to go to a good parts store [Napa] to find what you need just have to know the right size, sorry cant help you there.
If you are trying to seperate the trans from the engine there are 3 bolts you need to get off from the torque converter to seperate it then unbolt the trans from the engine and it should come apart.
Hope this helps, Dennis

Don't worry about it. The main thing the book is getting at is the methods you may have to use to hold the flexplate/crank in position with enough force to break them loose.
The best way to do this, is with a hand impact driver, a short handled sledge and a helper to hold the fan on the otherend of the crank, so striking the flex plate does not slam on the rear main. Put the 12pt in the socket hlder on the impact driver...strike each bolt once....and work around until they break loose. Just do not try to wedge or grip the flexplate itself to hold it still. It will bend. Otherwise...there are no worries. Ray[/code]
