Dog wish I knew what to tell you about the gauge #s . Perhaps taking a sample with you will get you in the ballpark. I think it really don`t matter all that much for the rockers. You`re going to be using some filler in there anyway and it is not a matter of structural integrity.
Whatever you get update us on it so we will all know next time. Best of luck. Bob Ingman

Buying Metal???? We find patch pieces all day long from computer cases -- works great... maybe not as big as you may need.

I always find buying a thicker sheet makes it easier to form & weld (but then again I'm a hack).

We must all once again remember the oldest Thing rocker repair trick. Buy a funky thing door and cut out the parts. Remember, the door ribs and body ribs interface. Just my dos pesos.. RW

centovos amigo! dos centovos!
Or you can do like I did and cover the entire area with aluminum diamond plate once repair and replacement has been completed. Best of luck. Bob Ingman
