Karol, I also have a Mexibug. Mine is a 72. Just curious but does yours have a ball joint front suspension? My bug has kingpins!! It also has a single circuit master cylinder too!

John,
Thats cool that yours is mixed. I was in the Bahamas in the early 90's and seen a street VW custom version that was a 1980 model and it had the US pre64 fat windows with elephant feet taillamps. He gave me a ride one day - smoking 1835, super nice ride.

I also have photos of a brand new 1990 models on the Bahamas VW dealership floor. Shame... so close, yet so far.

On this specific mexi-car.. see the top photos.. it has a ball joint.

yes it has single circut master cylinder, and balljoint suspension, everything is stock, never changed or replaced(but it needs to be). the funniest thing is that my bug is registered as 1966yr model :) (most of polish mexi's and supers are registered as pre '67)

I bought mine for $100 but it had no engine and the people who removed it CUT the rear apron off!! I've since found an apron at a swap meet and have an engine installed. The car has a clear title. How it got to the USA I don't know...it even had Pasos in the glove box!

Does that Bobble-head dog have a condom on its head? Looks like it.
