WTB Canada Thing

Post by MNAirHead »

Howdy,

My cousin lives in Winnepeg... he may be developing the bug bug.... he's on the look out for a Thing in Canada -- any one know of a collector to the north?

So far have gone through the basics... given him the basic sites to check out.... I can get him an engine if someone wants to split.

Any leads would be helpful... he hasn't given any preference for pre/post 1974 or which flavor of the 181 he'd be interested in.

PS... Hi Don if You're Reading This

Hey Tim, we have gun laws up here, so please kindly remove the gun you have pointing to my head.

Yes, I'd like to buy some "classic" and the Thing rates high on the list, but it's going to take about 6 months to get the missus to agree. (she might want me to sell a motorcycle  )

James and Mid Life you guys did not get many 181s there but you did get a lot of something we never received here-Bay Window Panels w/T-4 engines. We got a few panels from Mexico but with upright T-1 engines even after 72. Perhaps you can rig a trade with someone. Best of luck. Bob Ingman
