The guy I had a deal with to buy the 3 2 door 412's from decided to list them on the SAMBA. HE also called a friend who runs a VW shop here and asked him "how much you give me for them" my friend said "I dont want them but why dont you call Doug..... (me), he is the only one In Alabama I know of who messes with those cars." The guy told him that he had already talked to me and felt that he needed more offers. This comes from a guy who, CALLED me, quoted me the price HE wanted and then said "ok we have a deal." Then turned around friday night and shot off an email saying "the deal is on hold, I want to see how much I can get for them".

I hate dealing with people. If you try to buy the cars, fair warning he might do the same to you.

That pissed me off too! Especially since I was supposed to get the gold one.
It's ok though, I have my eyes on a '67 Bus now.
