Not typical at all. That is a late type 4, 411/ or 412 4 speed. Very nice set of gears. It has a 44.5 mm slave cylinder for the clutch. There is not a similra part in it to any other 4 speed on the market...save maybe for the final drive which is similar to the type 3 and 4 auto, but will not interchange without machine work. These ar great trannys. But...read in the archive s my back posts on what must be done if you want to drive this a lot. They can last forever...but you MUST do the minor upgrades of they will self destruct at high miles. You cannot afford to let anything break. There are no parts. If you don't want it.....maybe I can make you a deal for it. Ray

Thanks for the offer. I will also see what it may cost to ship it here. I would even be willing to send a fitted crate to make it easy. I have One good type 4 tranny...one that is needing machine work....it may be questionable in the end....and two that are strictly parts donors. I have just recently been fishing around for one good rebuildable one to have as a finished working spare. These trannys last a very long time...but when one of several parts wears out or goes bad....it must be fully serviced or it kills the works....which means generally that the box must be down for about a month sourcing bearings and seals. I could use a spare. Since I may be leaving the country for a while in June...its doubtful I will get to the east coast shows. If you could PM me...maybe we can work something out. Do you need an automatic for a 412? I have access to those. Thanks! Ray
