Hey, this must be fate Ray! You go to the southeast Asia area and then suddenly a bunch of NOS 412 parts pop up for sale in Hong Kong!

Yeah...the labor costs in this region are such that I can actually have all the type 4 parts hand hacked ....from either plastic aluminum or steel billets/blocks....for a very affordable price. Of course the chisels and mallets are coming in from the USA....so the shipping is getting me a little.
I have a severe environmental problem looming though....what to do with the mountains of shavings? I am contracting right now to just have full sized 411's and 412's hand carved from native wood. I will just have the wooden seats upholstered...and steel inserts for the motor mounts installed. For an extra $10,000 pesos ($200 us)...I can then either have stainless sheet hand hammered over the wood....or have it laquered and painted in the lead based paint of your choice. You are on your ow for glass....but I have found great deals on Parkas and goggles. Then...and heres the cool part......since they float.....I am looking for a charter tug...that may want to make the 7000 mile crossing to San Francisco...with 30-40 wooden 411/412's intow ...once the typhoon season has ended.

But seriously folks.....they still use nice asbestos clutch discs around here. Maybe I can wrangle some material sets for us?
